MICREWTUBES®

Micrewtubes® are ideal for ultra low temperature freezer storage, boiling applications, centrifugation, etc. and they fit most standard microcentrifuge rotors.

The cap is molded with a deep internal lip that fits snugly against the interior wall of the tube thus preventing the contents from coming in contact with the seal or threads, thereby reducing the chances of sample contamination. The cap’s long skirt facilitates manipulation especially in aseptic procedures and withstands centrifugal speeds up to 17,000 rpm. Both tubes and caps are made of polypropylene and can be autoclaved at 121°C.

Closures are supplied in natural colour. Colour coding can be achieved by the use of a colored Capinsert™ inserted on the top of the closure. Colour-coded caps are also available separately.

All sterile tubes are gamma irradiated and packaged in tamper-proof, resealable bags to protect remaining tubes from contamination. The 1.5 and 2.0 ml sterile tubes are also available with graduations and a white marking area for sample identification.
Non-sterile tubes and caps are packaged un-assembled.
