Quantab® Chloride Titrator

Quantab Chloride Titrators are convenient measuring devices for salt in aqueous solutions or dilute aqueous extractions of solids. All that is needed to run a titration is one Quantab test strip and its calibration table. The major uses of Quantab are in food processing, petroleum production, cement production and the general chemical industry.
Approximate titration range is 0.01% NaCl (60 ppm Cl–) to 0.6% NaCl (3600 ppm Cl–). Normal dilution procedure allows testing to 6% NaCl (36,000 ppm Cl–). Additional dilutions may be made to test higher levels. Procedures are simple and results definitive, therefore, may be used by non-technical personnel. When proper dilution-extraction techniques are used, replicate test with Quantab gives values which are within ±1 division on the numbered scale strip with 95% confidence using batch calibrations. Quantab has proven especially valuable where frequent tests are necessary, where the plant contains no laboratory facilities or to save the chemist’s valuable time. Forty test strips per bottle.
