accu-jet® S Pipette Controllers

The BRAND accu-jet® S is a cordless, battery-powered pipette controller for glass and plastic pipettes from 0.1 to 200 mL. One hand controls everything, from fast aspiration to exact meniscus setting, making it suited to cell culture, quality control and everyday lab work.

How to Choose

All four models are the same instrument with a different housing colour (anthracite, berry, petrol or amethyst), handy for telling users' or labs' controllers apart. Each comes with the universal AC adapter.

• One-handed control: pressure-sensitive buttons set the aspiration and dispensing speed, from fast filling to precise meniscus setting; motor speed can be changed on the fly
• Two delivery modes: gravity delivery for pipettes calibrated “to deliver”, or motor blow-out for pipettes calibrated “to contain”
• Fast: fills a 25 mL pipette in about 3 seconds at maximum motor speed
• All-day battery: about 8 hours of continuous pipetting per charge (10 mL pipette); fully charged in 4 hours, and usable while charging
• Charge indicator: two-colour LED that warns when about 2 hours of operation remain

Tip for Cell Culture

When resuspending cells or seeding flasks with small pipettes (under 5 mL), set the motor to its lowest speed or avoid motor blow-out, so you don't draw air into the medium or put too much shear on the cells.
