Wooden acid cabinets are safer and more durable than metal cabinets. Acid attacks ALL metal cabinets. No metal is used anywhere in the interior construction of SciMatCo acid cabinets. All cabinets are designed to meet or exceed all applicable OSHA and NFPA standards. Warranty: 1 year.

• All cabinet joints are rabbeted to provide exceptional cabinet strength. One fixed position shelf included.
• Entirely constructed of 1"" thick, high density, 9-ply plywood and finished with epoxy paint. Manufactured without using any metal components. All polypropylene is 0.125"" thick.
• Acids oxidize metal, SciMatCo cabinets contain no metal. All fasteners used are plastic. Even the few screws used are nylon.
• Unique polypropylene lock assembly. Padlock and 2 keys furnished with cabinet.
• Word “Acid” printed on cabinet in 6"" red letters.
• All surfaces finished with OSHA blue epoxy paint. Even if metal is coated or painted, a single scratch will break the protected surface and the oxidation begins to spread rapidly. Cabinet floor construction as a liquid-tight trough to contain spillage.
• 4 leveling feet
• Top is recessed to include a liquid-tight polypropylene tray. Tray will hold 3 gallons of spilled liquid. Use this top tray as a dispensing area.

Nitric Acid Compartment
A separate, entirely polypropylene, slide-in isolation compartment is available as an accessory to semi-isolate nitric acid or nitric acid spills from all other products stored in the acid cabinet. We urge the purchase of this accessory to avoid reaction between products, particularly between nitric and acetic acid.
