Barnstead Mega-Pure Water Still MP-1

This water still is economical and produces glass-distilled, high purity water. Compact and gives 1.4 liters of water per hour. Has a constant water level device, and also a Hi-Temp Safety Cut-Off. One distillation will produce water of up to 1.2 megohms/cm resistivity at condenser outlet, pyrogen-free per USP XVII. Measurement of total solids is as low as 0.57 ppm. Cabinet is constructed of strong aluminum, and has a baked-on epoxy finish. When still is in operation, rocker switch controls are illuminated. Removable cover. May be mounted on the wall or bench. Dimensions are 34""H x 18""L x 9.75""D. Unit is completely assembled when shipped. Comes with 6-litre polyethylene collection/dispensing bottle. Operating weight is 40 lbs. (18.2 kg).
