- Inner surface is treated to create a negatively charged hydrophilic surface ideal for consistent cell attachment. Growth surfaces are flat and free from striation to maximize usable growth area and transparency.
- Flasks have canted necks to offer excellent pipet and cell scraper access.
- Plug seal caps provide a closed system or can allow gas exchange with a one-quarter turn. Vent caps allow gas exchange and minimize the risk of contamination using a 0.22 µm hydrophobic membrane filter.
- Engraved graduations on two sides and ridges for easy stacking.
- All flasks are sterile (gamma irradiated) and are packaged in easy-to-open, sterile bags that have a re-sealable zip closure. RNase-free, DNase-free, DNA-free and non-pyrogenic. Lot numbers are printed on all bags.
- Manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 quality management systems in a class 100,000 cleanroom.
