Cyanide Test Strip Kit

•Designed for monitoring effluent and surface water.
•Perform a quick and accurate cyanide concentration colorimetric analysis using two reagent strips.
•Detection range: 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 5, >10, >20, >200 ppm (mg/l) visually. Detection range with colorimeter: 0.01 to 1.00 ppm.
•US EPA test verified performance.
•Procedure: Add 2 ml sample to microcuvette; dip Reagent Strip #1 into sample for 30 seconds; dip Reagent Strip #2 for 30 seconds; view Reagent Strip #2 for blue colour to determine semi-quantitative concentration; after 10 minutes, match colour in cuvette to colour chart for quantitative cyanide concentration.
•Colour reading can also be made using a colorimeter or spectrophotometer for more precise determination.
•Reagent Strip #1 adjusts the pH of the sample and converts cyanide to cyanogen chloride.
•Reagent Strip #2 enables the cyanogen chloride to react with isonicotinic and dimethylbarbituric acids to form a blue colour.
•Kit includes one bottle of each Reagent Strip, 4 cuvettes, 1 pipette, 2 visual colour charts and a CD.
