Dewar vacuum bottles come with a protective plastic mesh to help contain glass in case of accident. Container is made up of a glass vessel within a glass vessel, jointed only at the aperture, and is separated by a silver-walled space from which the air has been evacuated. For additional protection, the evacuation tips and glass at the bottom of the flask are completely coated. Aluminum base holds the vessel upright and encloses evacuation tips.
