Vacuum pump is a two-stage, rotary-vane, oil sealed pump with a free air displacement of 173 L/min (6.1 CFM). The ultimate vacuum is 1 x 10-4 Torr. Designed to handle vapour loads with high acidic concentrations, such as HCl, HBr, H2SO4, HNO3, TFA and TFA by-products, using the integral oil filtration system for continuous neutralization of acids. Pump has a gas ballast, anti-suck-back protection and internal airflow cooling to protect the pump and improve performance. Uses a large capacity (approximately 1.5 L) to dilute organic vapours and protect the pump oil during freeze-drying runs. Unibarb intake fittings accept either 7/16” or 13/16” I.D. vacuum hose to connect to the system. Comes with a hose clamp. Recommended for less than 12 L freeze dryers.
