- Replaces existing reagent powder pillows.
- No tablets to crush, powders to spill, glass ampules to break or dispensers that release irritating dust.
- All required reagents are precisely measured and impregnated on a test strip.
- Simply dip the strip into a water sample for 20 seconds with back and forth motion, remove, discard the strip and immediately read in your chlorine meter.
- DPD reagent strips are compatible with a wide range of meters such as Hach, LaMotte, Orion, WTW and others.
- US EPA accepted for reporting water and wastewater analyses. Procedure is equivalent to US EPA method 330.5 for wastewater and Standard Method 4500-CI G for drinking water when used with Palintest Chlorometer 1000 or equivalent.
- DPD-3 is used to measure total chlorine after first using DPD-1 to measure the free chlorine.
