Barnstead’s E-pure^® can produce up to 2 litres per minute of 18.3 megohm-cm Type I Reagent Grade water. All materials in contact with water are virgin polypropylene or other inert materials, to prevent recontamination of the water. A built-in continuous recirculation pump supplies ultrapure water upon demand without long rinse-up or putting water to drain. The E-pure^® is completely assembled for easy wall installation. Simply mount on the wall, connect to a water source, and install cartridges. In many cases the E-pure^® can be installed directly to a tap water line — no pretreatment necessary. A built-in pressure regulating valve is included as standard equipment.
E-pure^® is equipped with 1/4-turn quick-release canisters for easy cartridge removal and replacement. Flat-bottom design of the canisters allows them to stand upright on the bench for cartridge replacement. Pure water is dispensed through a virgin polypropylene faucet block.

Applications include: Type I reagent grade water, HPLC and other critical applications when used with the ORGANICfree^® cartridge kit, tissue culture when used with an optional ultrafilter, and rinse water in semi-conductor research labs.

Included with the E-pure^® is a digital resistivity meter that has automatic temperature compensation to 25°C. Can be used with a 0.2 micron hollow fibre final filter (D3750), remote dispenser (D4700), ultrafilter (FL582X1), and a variety of cartridge kits. Remote dispenser and cartridges must be ordered separately. 120 volt.
