These full-featured hot plates have digital control of plate and probe temperature, temperature ramping and timer with auto-off. All parameters are displayed constantly on the LCD. The temperature ranges from ambient to 450°C on solid ceramic plate and 400°C on aluminum plate. With PID control to 1°C with accuracy of 1% using a platinum RTD measurement system. Calibration is electronic and factory set, and can be reset easily in the field by the user if necessary.
Heater plates are either ceramic or milled flat cast aluminum. The ceramic tops are set in cast aluminum frames that are easy to clean and impervious to chemical spills. The cast aluminum tops are flat to 0.01” corner to corner. The chassis on both models is cast aluminum designed to keep spills and heat out of the electronics. They are coated with a chemically resistant epoxy-based paint for durability. A plate hot indicator illuminates when the plate goes over 50°C to help prevent burns. Temperature ramping is both up and down, and the timer is 99 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds with a settable auto-off function.
Heater plate dimensions are 8 x 8”. Overall dimensions are 9 W x 15.75 D x 4.75” H. Supplied with keyboard cover to keep spills off the display and membrane switch. Probes are not provided but are available separately. 115 volt. Warranty 1 year. CSA Approved.
