Durable cabinets are made of 18 gauge steel. Double walls contain 1.5"" of air space for insulation against external combustion sources. Solvents are kept in while flames are kept out by extra strong, Heliarc welded seams. Two 2"" threaded flame arrestor vents ensure efficient external venting. Shelves are adjustable and will hold more than 350 lbs. each. Sliding door models can be locked open with fusible link latches for easy access. The link melts when exposed to high temperatures, which closes the door automatically to protect cabinet contents. Chemicals are secured against unauthorized access by a three-point keyed lock. Lettered in red, a warning sign, “Flammable — Keep Fire Away”, alerts lab personnel of the cabinet’s contents. Finished in a yellow polyurethane enamel that is resistant to stains and chemicals. Additional features include: grounding attachments and a 2"" raised, leakproof door sill. The bench model has one adjustable shelf and 30-gallon capacity; the floor model has two adjustable shelves and 45 or 60-gallon capacity. Four leveling feet.
