GEM Model 8890 Vacuum Pump, Welch

Continuous duty applications include: gel dryers, rotary evaporators, vacuum desiccators and vacuum filtration manifolds. GEM pump is rated at 31 L/min., accepts 3/8” I.D. tubing, provides vacuums up to 0.1 Torr, and runs cool (55 ± 5°C) over a wide operating range (0.1 to 760 Torr). Its compact size (14.5 L x 5 W x 8.4”H) takes up little bench space. Its light weight (26 lbs.) allows easy transport. The pumping mechanism consists of gerotor gears. 115 volt, 60 Hz. CSAApproved.
Fully configured vacuum systems for rotary evaporation and for filtration are also available. They include GEM vacuum pumps and all items including tubing and collection flasks to handle these applications. Pump is available with isolation valve.
