Clear, sterile collection bottle pre-dosed with sodium thiosulfate

The Gosselin water sample collection bottle is designed to meet rigorous North American regulations. Comes pre-dosed with sodium thiosulfate and is made from lightweight polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic that is transparent as glass but break-resistant.

The sodium thiosulfate is pentahydrated to increase its stabilizing action on chlorinated water. The 160 mg/L dosage is in accordance with the 22nd edition of the Standard Method published by the American Public Health Association (APHA), the American Water Works Association (AWWA), and the Water Environment Federation (WEF). It can neutralize up to 15 mg/L of free chlorine in water samples.
