Designed to retain a high percentage of cell nuclei and mitochondria in soft tissues. Supplied with two pestles. Procedure utilizes the loose fitting pestle first and the sample is completed with the tight pestle. Mortar has large reservoir and pouring lip. Made of Wheaton-33® low extractable borosilicate glass. Loose pestle clearance: 0.0035 to 0.0050”. Tight pestle clearance: 0.0010 to 0.0030”.
