Designed to carry out soxhlet and other extraction tests. Available with either 3 or 6 recesses for four sizes of glassware. External surfaces are PTFE-coated to make them chemical-resistant and easy to clean. Each recess has a spark-free solid-state controller. Operates to 450°C. Also available with controls that adjust the magnetic stirring speed of 3 recesses. The six bank unit uses two controls.
The provision of stirring significantly shortens the reflux cycle time to speed up the extraction. Stirring speed is continuously variable from 50 to 1000 r.p.m. 115 volt (230 volt available on special order). Units without stirring are CSA Approved.
