Constructed of Moldatherm®, the unique ceramic fiber insulation and heating element composite. Double-shell construction keeps outer shell at a low temperature. All Moldatherm® box furnaces have a safety disconnect switch which shuts off the heating unit when the side-hinge door is opened. Features air vent (1” dia., top) and air inlet (3.75” dia., rear) for inert atmosphere exchange.
Quick heat-up and cool-down rates. Controlled heat-up rate eliminates thermal shock to materials. Microprocessor units offer a single segment, single setpoint, 1 ramp to setpoint. Programmable units have 16 segments, for ramp (up and down) and dwell (timed holds). Units have simultaneous digital display of actual and setpoint temperatures in °C or °F and over temperature protection. Maximum temperature is 1100°C for all units. All models are supplied with power cord except 5600 watt models. 50/60 Hz for all models. Optional RS485 digital communications port. UL Approved. One year warranty.
