Calibrated thermometers are used where precise temperature measurements are of critical importance. They are recommended to verify and calibrate the instruments routinely used in the laboratory including liquid-in-glass, digital electronic, and bimetal thermometers. Each thermometer is furnished with a calibration document showing corrections at relevant points on the scale. The factory calibrated thermometers are compared with NIST Standards and the documents furnished are traceable to the NIST. Each thermometer is packed in a felt lined leatherette case for safe storage. A booklet accompanies each one with helpful hints on how to properly use it.
