Obtain reproducible and accurate results in microbiological testing when samples are prepared with Masticator homogenizers. Samples up to 400 ml are placed in disposable sterile polyethylene bags. The two paddles gently but thoroughly homogenize the sample with the diluent. The diluent penetrates inside the tissue of the sample and is pushed out again, creating a perfect solution for further analysis. The Masticator gives a representative solution of the microbial flora in the sample because it is never exposed to thermal or mechanical influences which could alter the levels.

The stainless steel homogenizing compartment is easy to clean, since the sample is contained and does not come into contact with the instrument. Handling of the sample and subsequent cross-contamination is minimized.

The Classic is the basic model. Silver model allows the operator the flexibility to define the speed and time programs. The setting of 4 preset speeds and 10 preset times is displayed digitally on the system. All programs are stored in memory and recalled when desired. Until another program is requested the Masticator will retain the last program used. In both Silver and Classic models, an optional Panoramic window on the front panel allows the user to see the homogenization process. Warranty: 3 years.
