• CryoGrinder™ was specifically designed to grind small and difficult to homogenize tissues (ex. skin, sclera) at cryogenic temperatures.
• Mortars and pestles are composed of a durable porcelain zirconium composite that ensures fine grinding.
• CryoGrinder™ retains the strength and durability of porcelain while adapting to the scale of molecular biologists.
• Although most researchers use 10-20mg, the CryoGrinder™ mortar can accommodate up to 100mg of sample.
• Cordless, rechargeable wrench/screwdriver accommodates both small and large pestles to assist in the grinding process.
• Small well size allows for efficient recovery (up to 95%) of homogenized tissue.
