Optifit Pipette Tips and SafetySpace Filter Tips

Optifit tips and SafetySpace filter tips are made by Sartorius for a precise fit and leak-free seal on Sartorius pipettes, for the best possible accuracy and precision.

How to Choose

1. Match your pipette's volume. The tray colour matches the push-button colour on Sartorius pipettes:

• 0.1–10 µL (grey): pipettes up to 10 µL, e.g. 0.3–3, 0.5–10 and 1–10 µL
• 0.5–200 µL (yellow): 2–20, 5–50, 10–100 and 20–200 µL pipettes
• 5–350 µL (orange): 30–300 µL multichannel pipettes
• 10–1,000 µL (blue): 100–1,000 µL pipettes
• 100–5,000 µL: 500–5,000 µL pipettes
• 50–1,200 µL (purple): Picus electronic pipettes (1,200 µL models) only

• 2. Standard or filter: SafetySpace filter tips have a filter that stops aerosols and liquid from reaching the pipette, for work where cross-contamination must be avoided. With filter tips, don't use a Safe-Cone filter in the pipette.
• 3. Non-sterile or pre-sterilized: pre-sterilized tips are for sterile work; non-sterile racks and refill packs are still certified free of DNase, RNase, human DNA and endotoxins.
• 4. Packaging: Single Tray tips come in ready-to-use racks. Refill Towers and Refill Packs hold tip inserts for refilling racks you already have, with less plastic. Bulk tips are loose.
