Safety shields are constructed of 3/16"" polycarbonate. This will resist impact more than any other transparent laboratory shield material. Coated steel base is 3/4"" thick and heavy. Personnel to the side as well as the front are protected by angled sides. Protects against UV radiation in the 200-360 nm range.
