This multi-purpose benchtop safety shield protects workers against biohazardous splash from liquids such as contaminated blood (AIDS, Hepatitis-B, Staph) and other potential dangers such as serum, and vapours as well as beta radiation including beta emitting isotopes and P32.
In an industrial environment this safety shield provides a protective environment for the worker involved in grinding, polishing, soldering, buffing, and other potentially hazardous industrial processes. The free-standing clear acrylic shield provides optimum protection from flying particles, harmful vapours, or liquid splashes. The innovative cut-out access on shield allows for ease of movement, improved hand and arm coordination, decreased fatigue and increased productivity. Transparent for optimal viewing from either a sitting or standing position. Angled top allows materials located behind the shield to be viewed from either the top or through the face of shield while meeting crucial safety needs and without distortion. Handcrafted of the highest quality 3/8"" thick acrylic. On both sizes the work surface is 12""D x 16""W.
