Wide mouth, flat bottom kettles for use in organic reactions involving viscous materials such as resins. Flanges are ground to provide a tight seal. Covers are interchangeable between the 500 and 1000 ml sizes, and between the 2000, 3000 and 4000 ml sizes. Kettle O.D. shown is for the body. Height is overall including the flange. 2000 ml size is designed from ASTM E-147 specs.
3-neck covers have a center neck and 2 outer necks spaced 180° apart.
4-neck covers have a center neck and 3 outer necks spaced 120° apart except where one of the outer necks is a 10/30 thermometer joint, in which case the 2 larger outer necks are spaced 180° apart with the 10/30 side neck space 90° from them. (ASTM E-147)
