Whatman "Shark Skin" Filter Paper

These general use filter paper is white, and has a crepe surface. Used for qualitative work, has exceptional filtering properties and is almost as strong wet as it is dry. Speed of filtering is comparable to common qualitative papers. Great for industrial work, because its high strength when wet allows its use under pressure or suction. Acid and alkali resistance allows for wide range of process operations. Particle retention 8-12 µm (for cost saving equivalent, ask your CWS rep for Ahlstrom Grade 992, 461-500-10).
