Cloning cylinders aid colony isolation by assuring a homogeneous culture of cells rather than a mixed population. To isolate incubated colonies, a cloning cylinder is placed around the colony of choice and attached by sterile grease. After adding Trypsin into the cylinder, the dish is incubated until cells detach. Cells are then collected and transferred to another vessel. Cylinders are tapered so the bottom edge is wider than the top to afford a good seal. Molded of polystyrene. Packed 10 per bag.
