Entire sample is discharged by a tungsten plunger which is individually fitted to the bore of the stainless steel needle and bottoms at the tip. To ensure a leak-proof seal at injection pressures up to 6000 psi, teflon needle ferrule can be tightened. Injection style #3 needle point is specifically adaptable to pipetting very small volumes.
