CheckTemp^® Dip is an accurate instrument measuring temperature from -20.0 to 100.0°C (-4 to 212°F). The stainless steel probe with a 3 meter (9.9’) cable is weighted so it can be dipped into any vat or tank and measure the temperature at different depths. Due to the hygienic stainless steel probe, it is ideal for food applications, especially to check the temperature inside wine casks and milk tanks. Because of its rugged construction and long cable, you no longer have to bend down or get into awkward positions to measure the temperature. Simply drop the probe from a comfortable position and read the temperature on the large LCD display.

It can also be used for applications such as fish farms, water reservoirs and pools where the operator can stand on the edge of the water and throw the probe over. The accuracy, in spite of the longer probe lead, is an excellent ±0.3°C (±0.5°F). The battery life is 3 years with a normal AAA type battery.
