General purpose graduated laboratory bottles have a narrow mouth, no-drip pour lip and sloping shoulders to facilitate pouring and cleaning. Bottles show approximate volume graduations and have a large writing patch. Bottles, rubber lined and PTFE caps are autoclavable. The bottles are manufactured from a clear borosilicate glass (meet USP Type I standards). Low alkali content helps prevent changes in pH and maintain purity of contents.
