Atago refractometers feature an easy-to-read display with large figures and screen shading; the prism is mounted in high-impact plastic for improved corrosion and breakage resistance; rubber grip on body blocks the transmission of hand heat to reduce temperature errors; cushioned rubber eyepiece; non-roll stand and calibration screw protector. Can give accurate readings of even dark and cloudy liquids. Warranty: 6 months. Made in Japan.

*Automatic Temperature Compensation frees the user from having to recalibrate in work environments with large temperature swings. The effective compensation range is 10-30°C (50-86°F).
**For working with high-temperature samples. The prism is constructed of heat-resistant, acid-proof synthetic gemstone which allows samples of up to 100°C (212°F), or samples with a low pH level, to be measured.
