BIOTUBE™ System

These microtiter cluster tubes and racks are ideal for PCR® applications, HTLV-III testing and various immunoassay procedures. Made of polypropylene with low protein binding characteristics. Racks hold the tubes in the standard microtiter configuration of 8 x 12. Autoclavable. Resistant to most research chemicals and can be stored at -80°C. Tubes have capacity of 1.1 ml and are available either individually or in strips of 8.
The 616-639-02 series has a grid rack which can be removed from the base of the box and used as a self-standing support for the tubes. The 616-639-80 series has a standard microtiter-sized footprint and is suitable for use with sampling systems that conform to 96-well microplate systems. For both series, colour of base is white. Covers have alpha numeric identification system.
