Bostwick Consistometer

This consistometer is designed to determine the consistency of almost any viscous substance by measuring the distance a material flows under its own weight during a given time interval. Food and other industries may use this to pre-determine formulas for standardizing production lots. Unit is constructed of monel metal. Has spirit level and two leveling screws. Instantaneous release is allowed because the trigger-held gate is spring operated. Trough has 0.5 cm graduated divisions. Warranty: 1 year.
