Disposable Pestle

Pestles and matching 1.5 ml polypropylene microtubes are useful when simultaneous processing of many samples is required. Mixer displaces approximately 0.65 ml in microtube. Microtubes with a nominal volume of 1.5 ml hold up to 1.7 ml, thus allowing resuspension of precipitates in up to 1 ml of buffer. Can also be used to grind soft tissues. Autoclavable. Disposable. Package of 100 includes 100 pestles and 100 matched microtubes. Length of pestle is approximately 70 mm.
