Double Sidearm Celstirs®

Features an adjustable blade impeller for greater turbulence. The bottom dimple in the bottle prevents the crushing of cells beneath the magnetic impeller and improves circulation. Units 500 ml and larger have 45 mm sidearms to be used for an air vent, media inlet/outlet, inoculation port, pH probe, etc. Celstirs provide maximum surface interface between culture and flask atmosphere. Unit consists of glass flask, PTFE and glass impeller assembly, and PTFE/silicone lined top cap. Entire unit may be autoclaved.
