This pipet-aid will replace mouth pipetting in the laboratory. Needs no maintenance. Technician fatigue in sampling procedures is eliminated. Most glass and plastic pipets, 1 ml to 75 ml, and specialty pipets like the Pasteur, are accepted. Contains two precision valves which enable the user to control the fluid level in the pipet with no effort. Easy-to-replace check valve will stop fluid intake into handle. A Biohazard filter kit is available for use in a biohazardous environment The filtration unit can be installed on the Pipet-Aid pump which will filter both vacuum and pressure lines. Incorporating dual filters, the Pipet-Aid Biohazardous Filter Kit has a retention efficiency of 99.9999+ % for 0.1 micron particles and droplets. Normally factory installed and available with the Drummond Pipet-Aid, the Biohazard Filter Kit can be attached to existing unfiltered Pipet-Aid pumps, or older units by utilizing a Pall Filter.
