Separate, solid-state controller has 6' cord, ensuring that electronics are kept at a safe distance from corrosive mixtures. Completely enclosed 1/25 hp, permanent-magnet gear motor is non-vented, and has permanently-lubricated ball bearings. Gear reduction is 20:1. Mixer uses Jacobs-type chuck with key for both direct-drive and gear shafts. Accepts 1.5-10 mm (1/16-3/8"") stir shaft. Comes with 6"" support rod, chuck and grounded plug.
