Falling Ball Viscometers

This viscometer is one of the most precise and effective instruments for determining viscosity. Consists of high precision bore glass tube with stabilizing beads, with two high precision balls, one of glass and one of stainless steel, to extend the range. Teflon® ball release is sealed with a Viton® “O” ring. Ball is observed against a white background with red lines permanently fused into the glass.
