Multi-Therm™ Shaker

• Multi-Therm™ shaker is a temperature controlled vortexer, useful for a variety of molecular biology applications including denaturation of DNA, RNA and proteins, lipid extractions, reverse transcription, yeast and bacteria cultivation, DNA/plasmid isolation, restriction digests and gentle thawing of biological materials.
• Speed range: 200 to 1500 rpm, or turn it off to use just the temperature control. Horizontally circular motion with a 2 mm orbit.
• Speed, time and temperature are shown on the LCD, simultaneously showing actual and set values.
• Heating ramp rate: 5°C/min. Cooling ramp rate: 2.5°C/min (779-830-04 only).
• Temperature accuracy: ±1.0°C.
• Precision contoured wells maintain uniform thermal transfer.
• Integral over-temperature control ensures long life, safety and sample integrity.
• Exchangeable blocks hold tube sizes from 0.2 to 50 ml. Blocks must be ordered separately.
