Paraplast X-Tra® is a unique blend of low molecular weight polymers and paraffins for superior sections. Lower temperature infiltration eliminates distortion caused by tissue “cooking”. Lower viscosity allows complete tissue infiltration. Exceptional ribbon continuity. Flat sections are free of compression distortions. ASTM melting point 50-54°C. Handy pellet form. Packed 1 kg/bag, 8 bags/case.
