PCR UV Chamber

Designed to improve the accuracy of PCR* and general tissue culture procedures, the chamber is a ""still air enclosure"" with both fluorescent and 254 nm UV germicidal lamps. By limiting sample exposure to the open lab environment, the experimental set-up of PCR reactions is protected against airborne or cross-contamination. The automatic timer activates UV sterilization to irradiate the working area prior to and after planned use. If a corner door is opened, proximity sensors turn off the power to the UV system. Includes two acrylic shelves, one of which can store pipettors. Chamber dimensions: 23.5"" W x 17"" D x 21"" H. Overall dimensions: 24"" W x 18"" D x 28"" H. Power: 120V. CSA approved.
