Cylinder can stand up to continuous use at 135°C. This hydrometer jar is constructed of crystal clear polymethylpentene (PMP) and has a polypropylene base. Chemically resistant, and is quite safe. May be autoclaved. No overflow cup is required for reading. Ungraduated tube. 500 ml capacity. Size is 51 x 390 mm.
