• Produces cell disruption/homogenization using glass bead procedures.

• Includes a stainless steel holder for twelve 1.5 or 2.0 ml micro centrifuge tubes that has a built-in cup head, which allows mixer to be used as a standard vortex mixer.

  Microbiology Applications: Beads have been acid washed to remove contaminants. Suitable for yeast and bacterial spores.
  Molecular Biology Applications: Beads have been treated to be DNase/RNase-free. Ideal for preparation of cells for Real Time PCR.
  Protein Analysis Applications: Beads are low protein binding making them ideal for homogenizing samples for protein analysis. Useful when high protein recovery is necessary.
