Sample Chiller

Electronic Ice Cube Model IC10 chills samples below 0°C on your bench or in the field. The Peltier driven unit has no controls and the 7.3 cm by 11.1 cm chilled plate surface will go to 0°C in about two minutes. The maximum differential from ambient is about 30°C. It will freeze 96-well assay plates, freeze or chill various sizes of micro centrifuge tubes in aluminum blocks designed to hold them, can be used as a chilled microscope stage, and can chill or freeze any small sample in the lab or in the field. The accessible plate surface is ideal for use with robotic arms.
The small, compact unit comes complete with a chiller module measuring 16.5 cm long by 12 cm deep by 8.9 cm tall, a separate 12 volt DC bench top rated power supply with AC line cord, and a cable connecting the power supply to the chiller module. The plug can be removed from the power supply and connected to a 12 volt DC car cigarette lighter jack for powering the chiller module in the field. Blocks must be ordered separately.
