  • Compact, fully-integrated systems support the rapid and efficient concentration and drying of DNA/RNA samples, nucleic acids, PCR preps and synthetic oligos.
  • Ensures consistent drying times and reproducible results. Simple and easy to operate.
  • Ideal for drying down DNA/RNA precipitates in microplates or microtubes, drying down PCR samples in water/ethanol or isopropanol, or drying down oligonucleotides.
  • Model ISS110 is ideal for higher-volume applications, offering a built-in 4L cold trap for rapid evaporation and a sample capacity of up to 120 x 1.5/2.0 ml tubes using the optional high-capacity RH120-11 rotor. To accelerate evaporation, pre-heat the chamber, then turn the heater off prior to starting the run.
  • Model DNA120 concentrator offers rapid and efficient drying of small-volume DNA/RNA samples. Offers three drying rates (ambient, 43ºC and 65ºC) and includes dual digital timers for independent control of heat and run times.
  • Model DNA120OP safely concentrates oligonucleotides. Includes a chemically-resistant glass cover to keep solvent contained and an external post-trap that neutralizes ammonium hydroxide vapors.
  • Minimizes concerns associated with handling hazardous fumes and chemicals. Can concentrate radioactive samples with the optional radioactive chemical trap kit.
  • Dry at ambient temperatures or very low heat to ensure maximum sample protection.
  • Rotor speed: 1600 rpm (60 Hz models); 1300 rpm (50 Hz models).
  • Vacuum pump capacity: 36L/min (60 Hz); 30L/min (50 Hz). Ultimate vacuum level: 10 Torr (13 mbar, 1.3 kPa).
  • All units can be equipped with a microplate rotor to support two shallow-well microplates.
  • Equipped with an oil-free Teflon® diaphragm vacuum pump that ensures a gentle transition from atmosphere to the ultimate vacuum setting, eliminating sample disturbance from bumping and making them virtually maintenance-free.
  • Latched lid on all units ensures user safety during operation.
  • Three chamber temperature settings: ambient, 43ºC or 65ºC with over-temperature safety shut-off.
  • Timer range (for DNA120/120OP models only): 5 minutes to 9 hours 55 minutes.
  • Constructed of Teflon-coated aluminum (chamber), silicone rubber (chamber seal) and polypropylene (fittings). Teflon coated chamber provides excellent chemical resistance and easy-cleaning.
  • Two-headed pump with ETFE diaphragms.
