Troemner ASTM Precision Class 1 Analytical Knob Weight Sets

Highly polished gram weights are made of Alloy 8 stainless steel possessing low magnetic properties, uniform consistency and high resistance to corrosion. Fractional weights from 500 mg through 5 mg (30 mg weights are aluminum) are made of stainless steel sheet metal. Fractional weights 3 mg and below are made of aluminum. Weight sets where 500 g weight is the largest are supplied in a high quality polycarbonate case fitted with individual compartments and marked with the accuracy class and serial number. A clear fitted cover secures the fractional weights within the case. Weights sets where the largest weight is 1 kg and larger are supplied in wood cases. In the interior of the wood case is contained a high quality polycarbonate case to hold weights 500 g and below. Contoured weight forceps are also included in each set.
Analytical weights 1 gram and above are manufactured with adjusting cavities so that weights can be readjusted over time, if necessary, as they wear through use. This is a clear advantage over single piece weights.
