Whatman Grade GF/A Glass Fiber Filters

Glass fiber filter with high efficiency. Effective retention is 1.6 µm. 13.0 ml/sec. is the flow rate. High loading capacity. Absorption of water is 275 ml/m2. Used in biochemistry for filtration of precipitated proteins, cells, cell debris. Filter is ideal for radioimmunoassay of weak beta emitters by scintillation counting where Grade GF/A allows very high efficiencies.
